Just by swapping the land wheels for our blade set, our Wind Chaser® Land Sailor converts into an ice sailor.
So when the days get shorter and the lakes, ponds and rivers freeze over with good, hard ice, you can still keep sailing.
The Wind Chaser® is designed to sail in small local areas in winds of 10 to 20 miles per hour. The blades are stainless steel, hollow ground to minimize side slip, with double blades in the front for maximum tracking and single rear blades.
Just make sure the ice is thick and strong enough to hold you and the Ice Sailor. The photo to the right shows a fishing booth for ice fishing with a pick-up truck parked along side which is a good indicator of the strength of the ice.
Please Note: The hand brake does not work with the ice blade set since there is no front wheel to brake with.
When the ice thaws, simply assemble the Wind Chaser® with the wheels and you're off and sailing - Year round fun!
